| Meet Our Therapists Regina Regina's career actually began at Martin Chiropractic Office. She was a patient there when she received her first massage in 1994. At that point, she knew this was her niche. After being laid off, she decided she needed a career instead of a job, so she attended the Institute of Natural Healing in Colleyville in 1995. Regina has worked at The Anatole Hotel and the Gaylord as well as her own practice. Now as an employee Regina has come full circle, right back where she first got the desire to become a massage therapist. Regina is certified in, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal, Refexology, Reiki, and Thai Massage. Regina is also a Licensed Massage Instructor, and CEU Provider. Regina greatly enjoys relieving tension in her clients and prefers 90 minute sessions to 60 minute sessions to ensure a deep level of relaxation. Nicci Nicci started as a massage therapist in 2003 to fund her Bachelors of Science in Theatre. Since then she has continued pursuing both, finding great enjoyment in serving others. She trained at a Chiropractic College in Illinois to learn massage therapy from a medical approach. Nicci enjoys tailoring her sessions to the specific needs and desires of her clientele. Within a Custom Therapeutic she may utilitze: Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, reflexology and stretching. Nicci also enjoys making expectant mothers more comfortable in their ever changing bodies as they anticipate meeting their babies. She looks forward to pursuing a massage therapy instructor certification. Most importantly, she wants to decrease your pain and improve your quality of life through massage therapy, whatever modality you prefer.
Tashima Tashima has been in the medical field for many years. In 2009 ago she shifted careers from phlebotomy to Massage Therapy. She has always enjoyed helping the public improve their health. As a phlebotomist, she tired of inflicting pain. As a massage therapist she much prefers providing relaxation and pain relief. Swedish, Deep Tissue and Prenatal massages are among Tashima's specialties.
Mary Mary began as a massage therapist in order to help others. Her favorite part of massage is seeing her clients improve in relaxation and muscle function. Mary works diligently to tailor her massage sessions to your requests and needs. She enjoys the benefits of massage in her own life and wants others to know the same relief she experiences. She is excellent in swedish, custom therapeutic, deep tissue, reflexology, and greatly enjoys helping expecting mothers be comfortable in their ever changing bodies. Kym Kym has had a passion for helping people feel better through massage from a young age. Though she loves Texas, Kym’s home is beautiful Colorado. In the past, Kym had her own massage boutique, but found she missed being a part of a team. Advantage Massage provided her with that team atmosphere. In the future, she will pursue Sports Medicine, with the ultimate goal of working for a professional athletic team. Currently, she enjoys relieving muscle tension and providing relaxation to her clients. Kym’s favorite massage style out of: Swedish, Custom Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, or Pre-natal, is whatever the client needs for that session. In other words, her focus is on your relief, not her own ejoyment. She hopes she can help you find lasting relief through massage, just as she has for many others.
Kathleen Kathleen loves sharing the benefits of massage with her clients! She finds great satisfaction and enjoyment in relieving pain and stress. Neuromuscular Therapy is her favorite treatment type. This therapeutic modality is unique amoung our other modalities. The goal of Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is to restore balance to the body for improved posture, function, and movement. NMT is thorough and specific as it treats tense muscle tissue. The precise treatment requires less pressure and less "digging" than other deep tissue techniques. Though the entire treatment may not "feel" as deep, it is a very effective technique. To feel the benefits of this slower paced, precise pressure, lighter feeling deep tissue work, ask for Kathleen. She looks forward to introducing you to Neuromuscular Therapy or performing another modality as is necessary.
